Tuesday

Today it has rained all day, but you wouldn't have noticed with all the cheering, shouting and excitement at It's A Knockout this morning. As the teams competed against each other in a range of water activities the girls could be heard across the site!! In other parts of the camp girls learnt about guiding in other countries, took part in 100 challenges and played on inflatables!

We had a special visitor to camp today, Rosie Spencer, the Region Chief Commissioner. During her visit she presented several awards, enjoyed cream tea with some Guides and toured the site and all of the activities that the girls were taking part in!

This evening was spent on their subcamps playing games, taking on challenges and getting to know the other people they are camping with!

Monday

The girls awoke to beautiful sunshine this morning and started their fun filled week of activities. Kayaking and canoeing were popular with most of the girls falling in on purpose! Some girls tried archery for the first time and others tried their hand at go karting, inflatables and sumo suits! In the evening the whole site gathered together for a giant campfire!

Sunday

Sunday saw girls arriving from across the County excited for the week ahead! After pitching their tents and finding their way around site they joined together for an opening party.

The party kicked off with a decades fashion show where Guides showed off their costumes of both uniform and casual clothing from each decade before joining together for a huge disco party!
